SRU Biosystems
SRU Biosystems is a global provider of novel, label-free, detection tools used in drug discovery and life sciences research. Our patented BIND® technology rapidly analyzes biomolecular interactions of cells, proteins, genomic materials, peptides, antibodies and small molecule compound libraries. BIND technology represents a fundamental advance in the ability to monitor label-free biological interactions with high sensitivity and high throughput.

BIND technology was developed and optimized by one of SRU’s co-founders, Dr. Brian Cunningham who continues to be active in the nano sensor research community. Today, SRU Biosystems holds over 40 patents in the field of label-free technology. Every aspect of SRU is dedicated to bringing quality, innovative label-free technologies and products to market. We have combined our extensive knowledge in optical resonance with world-class manufacturing and customer support teams to create a truly unique, customer-minded organization.

We take pride in manufacturing our BIND readers and biosensors in-house in our Woburn, MA-based headquarters. This allows us to proactively develop new products and product enhancements, rapidly and cost-effectively bring label-free detection to the widest audience possible. One example of our market innovations is 1536-well label-free detection capabilities. We currently have the largest suite of label-free products including four BIND readers and over 25 optical biosensors. We continue to expand this product line with innovative, next generation label-free products.
